Champions Manchester City are in the driving seat to win the Premier League title again this season after both Liverpool and Arsenal dropped crucial points this weekend.

Pep Guardiola's Citizens, meanwhile, made it three wins from three in the top flight with a convincing 5-1 victory over relegation-threatened Luton at the Etihad on Saturday.

Liverpool were in action in the early game on Sunday, on the back of a shocking 3-0 defeat by Atalanta in the Europa League midweek, and favourites to come out on top against Crystal Palace.

But it was the away side who took all three points from the contest with Eberechi Eze scoring the only goal of the game after 14 minutes at Anfield.

Arsenal, meanwhile, had the opportunity to reclaim the top spot with a win over Aston Villa, but Unai Emery's side ran out 2-0 winners at the Emirates, meaning serial-winners City now have the advantage in the title race.

As things stand, Man City are top of the table on 73 points. Arsenal are second on 71 (on goal difference) and Liverpool are third on 71. All three teams have exactly six games left to play, with a total of 18 points still up for grabs.

Man City's final six fixtures

Brighton (away), Nottingham Forest (away), Wolves (home), Fulham (away), Tottenham (away) and West Ham (home).

Arsenal's final six fixtures

Wolves (away), Chelsea (home), Tottenham (away), Bournemouth (home), Manchester United (away) and Everton (home).

Liverpool's final six fixtures

Fulham (away), Everton (away), West Ham (away), Tottenham (home), Aston Villa (away) and Wolves (home).

Given that Man City lead their rivals by two points automatically gives them an advantage, but looking at their last six fixtures, they also have the best run-in.

Arsenal have the hardest given they must get points in two London derbies against Chelsea and Spurs as well as historic rivals Man United. Liverpool also face a possible banana skin in the form of Everton.
