The graphic shared on social media claims that a Hindi news channel “News 2024” has carried predictions from across various illegal betting markets to suggest that the Lok Sabha contest was too close to call. As the graphic began gaining traction, Manak Gupta, executive editor of News24, took to X and said that the graphic being shared is fake.

As per Rajasthan’s Phalodi Satta Bazar, the BJP-led NDA is estimated to form a government at the Centre with Prime Minister Narendra Modi returning as the Prime Minister for the third successive term. The betting market, known for its accurate assessments, has prjected the INDIA bloc winning 80-90 seats.
As per its estimates, the BJP is expected to win 296-300 seats while the NDA could win 329 to 332 seats. Its latest estimates suggest that the INDIA bloc may make significant gains in Uttar Pradesh, with the BJP’s tally dropping to the 55-65 range from earlier estimates of 65-70 seats in the state.
