From BJP's bastion of Pashchim Champaran, the Congress has fielded ex-MLA Madan Mohan Tiwari.
Ajay, a two-term MP from Muzaffarpur seat, joined the Congress after the Bharatiya Janata Party dropped him and fielded a former close aide of Vikassheel Insan Party head Mukesh Sahni, Raj Bhushan Chaudhary, who was the defeated candidate in 2019.

Sunny and Shambhavi are making their poll debut.
From BJP's bastion of Pashchim Champaran, the Congress has fielded ex-MLA Madan Mohan Tiwari. BJP's former state president Sanjay Jaiswal is seeking re-election for a fourth consecutive term from this constituency.
Among the nine seats Congress is contesting in Bihar under the INDIA bloc, the party had earlier announced candidates for Kishanganj, Katihar and Bhagalpur, all of which will go to polls in the second phase on April 26.
