Srinagar, Apr 12: National Conference Vice President and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister will contest upcoming Lok Sabha election from Baramulla seat, the party said today.
Omar Abdullah, who is a the three-time MLA, will be pitted against Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Lone and PDP’s Fayaz Mir.
Omar has also served as a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee -led NDA government.
Ruhullah is a three-time legislator and an influential Shia cleric from central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
He will be pitted against PDP’s Waheed Parra.
