The actor added, “He used to be troubled by those blind articles. He was very sensitive and very intelligent. He was a fan of the mutton I used to cook on the set because he was also a Bihari. He also used to say ‘I want to come over to your place and eat mutton’. I also said that ‘the next time I cook it, I will definitely call you’. That was our last conversation. Just after 10 days, he passed away.”

On his death

Like everyone who was close to him or around him, I was very shocked, shattered. I just can’t believe [it], even now. I haven’t been able to come to terms with his death and with Irrfan’s death. It was too early, them going away.
