Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is one of the finest stars in the industry. Speaking about his personal life, Manoj bore the pain of losing both his parents within a span of 6 months. Recently, the actor, during a chat with Siddharth Kannan, opened up about how he dealt with the pain. He also recalled a heartbreaking moment when he told his ailing father to 'let go' of his body on phone, while his spot boy heard the conversation on phone and bursted out in tears.

Manoj talked about how he handled the circumstance with poise. Bajpayee recalled the heartbreaking experience of persuading his gravely ill and suffering father, RK Bajpayee, to pass away quietly. He explained his final conversation with his father on call, Manoj said, “My father was very close to me and I adored him. I was lucky that my siblings were there to take care of him as I was shooting for Killer Soup at the time in Kerala. I used to tell him that I am going for shooting but I will finish it and come back.”
Manoj recalled the painful moment he had to tell his father to let go. Manoj shared, "“One day, my sister called and informed me that my father had reached the end of his journey in this life. But, as per the doctors, he seemed to be clinging to this world. Knowing that I shared a deep bond with him, she suggested that perhaps if I asked him to liberate his body, he might leave it."
Manoj Reveals He Was About To Give A Shot For Killer Soup Manoj talked about how he asked his father to let go of his body, and on listening to this conversation on call, his spotboy started crying and howling. He said, "This was the exact time when I was supposed to give a shot for Killer Soup and my spot boy was in the van. In front of him, I was talking to my father and I told him, ‘Bauji aap jaeye, bauji hogaeya (Father please go, it is time) and it was heartbreaking for me. My spot boy started crying, howling and I was going for my shot. That was the toughest moment for me but I dealt with it and early morning the next day, my father left.”
Manoj's mother also passed away after 6 months of his father's demise. The actor said she was a strong woman and she expressed her wish to not "to be dependent on anybody. It is better that I die."
