PTC Industries, Avantel, Honda India Power Products, Paras Defence and Space Technologies, Hindustan Construction Company, Bannariamman Sugars, Chemplast Sanmar, GTL Infrastructure, Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility, EIH Associated Hotels, Home First Finance Company India, Reliance Power, Asian Granito India gained between 25-34 percent.
4/9 BSE Mid-cap Index hit a fresh high of 46,088.09 and gained 4.4 percent led by Schaeffler India, Oil India, Oracle Financial Services Software, Max Healthcare Institute, Samvardhana Motherson International, Endurance Technologies, LIC Housing Finance, Honeywell Automation, New India Assurance Company.

5/9 The BSE Large-cap Index added 1 percent and touched a fresh high of 9,257.87 with Siemens, ABB India, One 97 Communications (Paytm), Hindustan Aeronautics, Bharat Electronics, Ambuja Cements, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company and Varun Beverages rose 8-13 percent, while Marico, Hindustan Unilever, Hindustan Zinc, Adani Total Gas, Adani Green Energy and United Spirits fell 3-5 percent.
6/9 In terms of market value, UltraTech Cement added the most, followed by Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank and Power Grid Corporation of India. On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys lost most of their market-cap.
7/9 Among sectors, BSE Capital Goods index added 6.4 percent, BSE Realty index gained 5.4 percent, BSE Telecom index gained nearly 4 percent, and BSE Oil & Gas index rose 3.5 percent each. However, BSE Information Technology and FMCG indices shed 1 percent each.
8/9 During the week, Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought equities worth of Rs 2,030.83 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) also bought equities worth Rs 6293.38 crore.
