Guddu Pandit and Golu Gupta explore their individual games as those seeking full control over 'Mirzapur ki gaddi', and Madhuri Yadav, the new Chief Minister of 'Pradesh', discovers interesting ways to identify betrayers in her mission to establish a 'bhay-mukt' (fear-free) state. However, it's the final 20 minutes of the season, which carry the ultimate jaw-dropping twists, setting the stage for season 4.

Before we discuss the possible story of 'Mirzapur Season 4', let's look at all the questions that season 3 might have left you with.
Has Kaleen Bhaiya returned to be the king of Mirzapur?
In the last episode of 'Mirzapur 3', Kaleen Bhaiya finally recuperates from his injury and makes a startling entry at the 'baithak' where all other baahubalis are present to discuss the future of 'Mirzapur ki gaddi'. He is warmly welcomed as the leader of Purvanchal once again. However, as he takes over, he announces that he wants his nephew, Sharad Shukla, to take control of Mirzapur on his behalf.
He introduces Sharad as his reflection to everyone present at the meeting and says, "Is gaddi ki garima is par baithne vale se hoti hai. Jo iski garima ko barkarar rakh sake, isey badhaye. Jo kathorta se nirnay le aur sayamta se dand de. Aur humari drishti me ek hi vyakti hai, humara pratibimbh: Sharad Shukla. [The one who takes over this throne decides the very essence of this position. He is the one who is mindful of respecting its legacy and is devoted to working towards its constant growth. He is the one who makes the difficult choices and remains patient while punishing. There's only one person who, in my knowledge, can fulfil this duty. I call him my reflection: Sharad Shukla]." However, the moment Sharad gets up to happily accept his anointment as the king, Kaleen Bhaiya adds, "Abse ye hain king of Mirzapur... aur hume behad dukh hai ki ye akhri king of Mirzapur honge [He is the king of Mirzapur, and with a hurtful heart, I have to declare that he is going to be the last king of Mirzapur]." The gun shots followed, and the viewers are subjected to a blood-soaked body of Sharad Shukla the very next moment.
Now, at the end of season 2, Kaleen Bhaiya had announced that he was taking retirement and handing over the rule to his son, Munna Bhaiya, who eventually gets shot by Guddu and dies on the spot. Kaleen Bhaiya also gets injured in the same attack and takes shelter at Sharad's residence in Jaunpur, where he promises his nephew the title. One thing is clear here: Kaleen Bhaiya might have killed Sharad, but he stood true to his promise and announced him as the new king of Mirzapur. However, when he does that, he also addresses Sharad as the 'last' king of Mirzapur, which means that Kaleen Bhaiya is in no mood to rule Purvanchal. He might have returned to the game but only to change the game forever.
Why did Kaleen bhaiya kill Sharad Shukla?
Whoever Kaleen Bhaiya is, he is, first and foremost, the man of his word. As if dealing with his son and father's death wasn't enough, he also had to lose Tripathi Kothi, his wife and his newborn son to Guddu. Kaleen Bhaiya is a thinker. He is silently dealing with all the pain and also strategising a new plan now. Only this time, he doesn't desire the 'gaddi' for himself but for Sharad, who saved his life and tended to him after the attack. Impressed by his intentions and unaware of why Sharad really saved him, Kaleen Bhaiya promises him that he will be the new king of Mirzapur. Things change in the end as he claims back control.
Madhuri Yadav, Munna's wife and Kaleen Bhaiya's daughter-in-law, is in power currently. She develops feelings for Sharad only to know later that he conspired to kill her father. A heartbroken Madhuri calls Sharad and gives him one last chance to confess. However, instead of confessing about her father's killing, he ends up telling her that he has been sheltering Kaleen Bhaiya at his residence. The last episode witnesses a big face-off scene between Kaleen Bhaiya and Madhuri, who meet on a cliff where the former reveals his plans about passing on the legacy of Mirzapur to Sharad. Madhuri tells him to hold his horses and do as she advises. A helpless Kaleen Bhaiya stays silent as she leaves. What exactly Madhuri asks him to do is revealed at the moment Kaleen Bhaiya shoots Sharad. The latter never gets to know why his uncle betrayed him, but it doesn't take time for the viewers to connect the dots.
Is Guddu in love with Golu now?
For the most part of season 3, Guddu and Golu are separated. The latter gets kidnapped by Chote Tyagi (Vijay Varma) who is in love with her but is looking at an opportunity to also take revenge on her. She is tortured, beaten and threatened while the rest of the world believes her to be dead, including Guddu. It's during the time she's absent from his life, especially after her fake dead body is discovered by the police, that Guddu realises his true feelings for Golu. Golu somehow manages to escape and conspires with former minister, JP Yadav, to let Guddu out of jail. He's dismayed and happy to see Golu as she steps out of a boat to welcome him back, into his safe space and her heart, finally. Their eyes meet, they hug and then they kiss. The passionate kiss is a testament to their feelings, which were brushed under the carpet for the longest time. While Golu still had affection towards him, he was too high on his revenge dope to make sense of any human emotion. At the end of season 3, now, it finally seems that Guddu and Golu are together in the game. This time, as a couple.
