According to the fan, he postponed paying his children's school fees to purchase CSK tickets worth Rs 64,000. He stated his priority was securing tickets before considering the fees. However, India Today couldn't confirm the authenticity of his statements.
DHONI FAN'S STARTLING CLAIMS
"I didn't get the tickets, so I bought them in black. It was a total of Rs. 64,000. I am yet to pay the school fees. The fan's daughter reflected on the hard work her father put in to get the wickets and was happy when Dhoni came to bat.
"My father has worked very hard to get these tickets. We were very happy when Dhoni came to play," the daughter said in the video.
The fan's revelation didn't go down well as his priorities raised eyebrow with everyone crictisizing his decision. The entire family wore the yellow jersey and showered their 'yellove' for their Thala Dhoni by blowing whistles.
