For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu dated for a few years and then got married in 2017. However, the two announced their separation in October 2021 i.e. after four years of their marriage. Back then, they had issued a statement asking fans and followers for privacy as they ‘move on’.

“To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us,” a part of their statement read.

In December last year, Naga Chaitanya opened up about the scrutiny on his personal life and shared that it does not bother him. “I really don’t bother about it beyond a point. People close to me will know the truth. Apart from that, I want to be known for my work as an actor more than what’s happening in my personal life. So I try to focus more on my craft, let the movies do the talking. At the end of the day, if my movies are great and entertain the audience, that’s what I want them to remember me for,” Chay told Indian Express.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Naga Chaitanya recently made his OTT debut with Dhootha, which is now premiering on Amazon Prime.
