"However, the NTA assures the public that apart from this isolated incident, the NEET (UG) 2024 examination commenced smoothly and is being conducted peacefully at all other examination centers across the country. The NTA emphasizes that this incident has not compromised the integrity of the examination process at other centers. "

National Testing Agency, NTA has conducted the NEET Exam today, May 5, 2024. Over 24 lakh students appeared for the exam. During the exam, there was an incident of incorrect distribution of question papers at Madhopur due to which students walked away.

There are social media posts claiming that paper was leaked around 4-4.15 PM however an NTA official told Indian Express students are only allowed to exit that hall with the question paper after the exam ends but some students walked out forcefully.

At one of the NEET exam centre, Girls Higher Secondary Model School, Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, students were handed over English medium question papers by mistake instead of Hindi medium question paper and by the time the invigilator could correct the mistake, some candidates left the examination center with question papers.

"However, the NTA assures the public that apart from this isolated incident, the NEET (UG) 2024 examination commenced smoothly and is being conducted peacefully at all other examination centers across the country. The NTA emphasizes that this incident has not compromised the integrity of the examination process at other centers. " said NTA in the notice

NTA further said that e examination of approximately 120 affected candidates from the Girls Higher Secondary Model School examination center is being conducted today, May 5, 2024 itself to ensure that their academic aspirations are not affected due to this incident.

It also assured its commitment to conducting examinations with transparency, integrity,and fairness.
