Envoys of seven countries, including Chinese ambassador Xu Feihong and UK high commissioner Lindy Elizabeth Cameron, presented their credentials to President Droupadi Murmu on Friday.
Envoys of New Zealand , Kuwait , Fiji , Guinea and Ecuador also presented their credentials.Xu Feihong said later in a post he had a "friendly discussion" on China-India relations with the president.
"I will make my due contribution to the improvement and development of China-India relations," he said.
China had appointed an ambassador to India last month after a gap of 18 months.
