While Indian National Congress (INC) is projected to be restricted to only 5-8 seats.In the preceding assembly elections held in April 2019, the BJD emerged victorious, securing a notable majority of 112 seats out of 147. Consequently, Naveen Pattanaik assumed office as the chief minister. The BJP had won 23 seats and INC won 9 seats.Voting for 147 assembly seats of the state was held from May 13 to June 01 in four phases of elections.The assembly elections for Odisha were conducted along with Lok Sabha elections from May 13 to June 01 in four phases. Odisha completed the last phase of voting with a 63.46 per cent turnout by 8 pm.
