A 22-year-old woman working out at a gym in Indonesia’s Pontianak lost her life in a fatal fall from the third floor.
The woman, who stepped down from a treadmill placed near an open window, stumbled backward, and fell out of the window.
A CCTV footage capturing the incident, shared by X user Colin Rugg, has gone viral with over 8.1 million views.
Rugg shared the video with a caption, explaining, “Woman steps off the back of a treadmill and fatally falls out of a three-story window.
She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.”Reacting to the video, one user shared, “Why is there an open window behind a treadmill?.” Another user commented, “OMG.

The 22-year-old victim had reportedly been exercising for about 30 minutes when she stepped off the back of the running machine.”

His post also mentioned, “According to police, there was only a 2-foot gap between the machine and the open window. The window height was only about a foot.

The woman tried grabbing the edge of the window but it was too late. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.”
Reacting to the video, one user shared, “Why is there an open window behind a treadmill?.” Another user commented, “OMG. That is horrific. Why would treadmills be placed in that position? Should have been turned in opposite direction..”
