Amazon Prime Video 's Panchayat is set in the fictional village of Phulera. The series looks at the difficulties of rural life, both the chaos and the calmness. The comedy show became a big hit after it premiered during lockdown in April 2020. Since then, fans have been eagerly looking forward to the next chapter of panchayat politics. Faisal Malik , who plays Prahlad in the series, shared that for the first two seasons their main challenges on set were dealing with external forces which ended up causing delays. Here's what Malik had to say about the losses the show faced.

Faisal Malik on Panchayat Season 2 challenges In an interview with Firstpost, Faisal Malik spoke about nature being the main challenge on Season 2. He revealed, "One of the challenges was the heat. There were no other major challenges because we had a set world and we had to stay around that set world. Because of the rains during the shooting of the second season, we are running 10 to 12 days behind schedule and incurred a lot of loss as we were unable to shoot. Will literally had to use fans to dry the wet lens."

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the new season of Panchayat premiered on May 28. Jitendra Kumar returns as Abhishek Tripathi, the secretary assigned to the panchayat. Neena Gupta plays the village chief Manju Devi, while Raghubir Yadav essays the role of her husband Brij Bhushan.

About the series Panchayat The Viral Fever production is written by Chandan Kumar. This season, the Panchayat gang has to convince some of the citizens of Phulera that they have the village's best intentions at hand as elections are just around the corner.

The Times Now review of the comedy series stated, "The makers of Panchayat sure know how to nail their endings. With Season 2 and now with Season 3, they have kept us wanting more. The comedy has more dramatic portions this season as it increases the stakes involved in the "silly little local politics" storylines. Despite the slower momentum, you won't be able to stop yourself from going to the next episode to find out what happens next. I hope it's not too long a wait for Season 4 then."
