Pet Husky sparks conflict: Hyderabad incident leaves 3 injured

HYDERABAD: In Rahmatnagar , a violent clash between two families over a pet dog resulted in injuries to three individuals and the canine. Along with four accomplices, he launched a vicious assault on Madhu's brother, Srinath, who was out walking the pet dog in the evening. The attackers used iron rods to brutally beat Srinath, and when his mother, Rajeshwari, and sister, Swapna, intervened to help, they too were severely injured.The attack left the victims and the dog in a critical state, requiring immediate medical treatment. Maduranagar police registered a case under section 147, 148, 307 r/w 34 IPC and section 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. The five individuals involved in the attack were arrested by the police.

The police have taken five people into custody in connection with the incident.The incident occurred within the Maduranagar police station 's jurisdiction, where a dispute arose between the families of Madhu and Dhanunjay .The conflict began on the 8th of this month when Madhu's family members, accompanied by their husky dog, were on their way to cast their postal ballots.According to Madhura Nagar police, Dhanunjay's family alleged that the dog had attacked them, leading to a case being filed based on complaints from both sides.The situation escalated when Dhanunjay, consumed by anger, decided to retaliate. Along with four accomplices, he launched a vicious assault on Madhu's brother, Srinath, who was out walking the pet dog in the evening. The attackers used iron rods to brutally beat Srinath, and when his mother, Rajeshwari, and sister, Swapna, intervened to help, they too were severely injured.The attack left the victims and the dog in a critical state, requiring immediate medical treatment.
