YCP has fielded Kakinada sitting MP, Vanga Geetha, as Pawan’s opponent in Pithapuram.
However, Geetha encountered another setback today when a group of voters surrounded her office in Pithapuram, alleging that YCP leaders had bribed certain individuals to vote for them.

The ruling YSR Congress Party has been trying hard to defeat Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in the Pithapuram constituency. They have been taking illegal steps to lure voters to vote for their party.
YCP has fielded Kakinada sitting MP, Vanga Geetha, as Pawan’s opponent in Pithapuram. However, the ground reports suggested that Pawan’s victory was inevitable this time, with the help of TDP and BJP.
Thus, the YCP has resorted to illegal tactics to dent Pawan’s winning chances in the constituency. Just yesterday, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy promised to appoint Geetha as Deputy Chief Minister if the Pithapuram people elect her as their MLA.
However, Geetha encountered another setback today when a group of voters surrounded her office in Pithapuram, alleging that YCP leaders had bribed certain individuals to vote for them. The protesters claimed they had not received any money. Eventually, the police arrived at the scene and dispersed the protesters.
There is a huge anticipation in the people that YSR Congress will pay loads of money. The expectations are as high as 10K – 12K per vote. They will be disappointed with anything less than that. It may become counterproductive for YSR Congress
