Samsung has unveiled its highly anticipated mid-range device, the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G models in India on Monday, April 8. These devices mark the latest additions to the Galaxy M series, succeeding the Galaxy M54 5G and Galaxy M14 5G, respectively.
The Galaxy M55 5G boasts an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and is available in various RAM and storage configurations, alongside two colour variants. Notable features include a triple rear camera setup and support for wired fast charging.

Diving into specifications, the Galaxy M55 5G flaunts a spacious 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness level of 1,000 nits.
Under the hood, we get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, a first for any non-flagship level smartphone to get that much RAM. We also get 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The device runs on Android 14-based One UI 6.1. Samsung is promising extended software support with up to four years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
For cameras, the Galaxy M55 5G is equipped with a rather versatile camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. Additionally, the front camera boasts a high-resolution 50MP sensor.
