Sony Bravia 7 series features
The Sony Bravia 7 series features the Cognitive Processor XR and Studio Calibrated modes and carries IMAX Enhanced certification, indicating compliance with IMAX’s high-quality standards. It supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for better audio and video outputs.
These TVs include XR 4K Upscaling technology that improves content to near 4K quality regardless of source. This technology analyses and enhances textures and details to optimise every image. Additionally, the series includes XR Motion Clarity technology, which ensures smooth and blur-free rendering of fast-moving scenes.
The Sony Bravia 7 series has Clear Image technology that minimises noise and blur. It also incorporates a Mini LED panel and XR Contrast Booster to enhance image depth and detail through precise backlight control. As per the company, this technology delivers deeper blacks and brighter whites.
These newly launched Sony TVs deliver an immersive sound experience through XR Sound Positioning and XR Surround technologies. Additionally, XR Surround generates 3D surround sound using the TV’s speakers, creating virtual surround effects from above and on the sides.
Game Mode
The Sony Bravia 7 series TVs feature Auto HDR Tone Mapping that adjusts HDR settings to enhance picture quality during setup. It switches between Game Mode, reducing lag for responsive gameplay, and Standard Mode for cinematic viewing. Key gaming enhancements include 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for smooth motion and reduced input lag.
Additionally, the PS Remote Play app enables remote control of PS5 or PS4 consoles from any compatible Bravia-connected device for flexibility in gameplay location. The Sony Bravia 7 series also has a new Game Menu for customisable gaming settings, including VRR and Motion Blur Reduction adjustments, which enhances visibility.
