They include party Rajya Sabha MPs Harbhajan Singh, Ashok Kumar Mittal, Sanjeev Arora, Balbir Singh Seechewal and Vikramjit Singh Sahney. Except for Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak , none of the Rajya Sabha MPs of the party have uttered a word against Kejriwal's arrest. Of its 10 Rajya Sabha members, only Sanjay Singh, Sandeep Pathak and ND Gupta have participated in the protests. New Delhi: Even as Aam Aadmi Party continues to hold protests and drum up support for jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, several members of the party have maintained stoic silence since the arrest of party chief on March 21 in the Delhi liquor "scam".

Defying the party line, they have also not changed the profile pictures to an image showing a jailed Kejriwal with the slogan "Modi ka sabse bada dar, Kejriwal" on their social media handles.

The protests are currently being led by Sanjay Singh , who is out on bail in the Delhi liquor policy case.

While Harbhajan Singh has not put out any post against Kejriwal's arrest, the party leader has posted several posts on IPL and also a post congratulating Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann after he was blessed with a daughter.

The cricketer-turned-politician has visited the national capital post March 21 after Kejriwal was arrested, but has not participated in the protests by his party.

"He visits every 15 days. He visits every week, or at times pays a visit monthly to oversee the construction work," said a man posted at the gate.

Another party MP, Balbir Singh Seechewal, has stayed away from making any comments against Kejriwal's arrest. According to reports, Seechewal, before accepting Rajya Sabha membership offer, had clarified to the party leadership that he would not participate in the party’s political events.

Similarly, Vikramjit Sahney, a businessman and philanthropist, has said in one of the posts that he is "non-political and raises issues related to Sikhs, youth, Punjab and Punjabiyat, rising above political lines," according to the Wire.

Of its 10 Rajya Sabha members, only Sanjay Singh, Sandeep Pathak and ND Gupta have participated in the protests.

Two of the party's Rajya Sabha MPs - Raghav Chadha and Swati Maliwal are currently abroad for personal work. According to Chadha's account on X, he has been in London since March 8 for a vitrectomy, a type of eye surgery to prevent retinal detachment.

Meanwhile, Swati Maliwal, who is a first-time MP, is in the US to assist her sister who is recuperating from an illness.

Both the MPs have been posting on social media in support of their party boss.

"None of the MPs has given any statement against the BJP or extended their support to the party’s national convener," a Punjab minister was quoted as saying to The Tribune.

Asked about the silence of fellow AAP Rajya Sabha MPs, Sanjay Singh said "the party will discuss this at its own fora".
