Spain boss Luis de la Fuente was full of praise for Lamine Yamal after the Barcelona star scored a stunner against France at Euro 2024.
France took the lead early on, but Yamal curled a brilliant goal past Mike Maignan to make it 1-1 and write his name into the history books.
Dani Olmo went on to score the winner that sends Spain into the Euro 2024 final, but there’s no doubt it was Yamal who stole all the headlines in Munich.
“We saw a touch of genius from a footballer who we all need to take care of,” he told reporters afterwards.
“I would like him to work with the same humility and keep learning with the same attitude and maturity he shows on the pitch.

Yamal is now the youngest player ever to score at a European Championship, posting a record that will take some beating, and will celebrate his 17th birthday the day before the final.
