For some odd reason, Tamil cinema followers have developed extreme hate on Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The vast majority of the Tamil supporter group hated on Animal and they even cried foul on the Tamil actors like Sivakarthikeyan and Trisha who appreciated the film.

Coming to the topic, the latest development involving Sandeep Vanga has implied that he has perhaps subtly hit back at a Tamil filmmaker who commented on Sandeep’s body of work.

Incidentally, Tamil filmmaker Gautam Vasudev Menon said in a recent interview that he doesn’t agree with the alpha male propaganda of Vanga’s films and claimed that Sandeep and his team might now abuse him for making such a comment. “Sandeep and his team might come swinging at me questioning my range and my films after listening to what I said about his films,” he said.

Cut to now, Vanga was asked about his recent Tamil film and he replied that he liked Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and added that he likes all of Gautam Vasudev Menon’s films.

While Menon tried to irk Vanga by claiming that he doesn’t like the alpha male narrative in the latter’s film, Vanga appeared to have subtly hit back at the former by saying he likes all his films. Menon’s over the top comment about Vanga possibly attacking him for his take on his alpha male films has been countered sensibly by Vanga.

Being a director himself, Menon must know that the film industry is open to all kinds of directors who come with their own set of mindsets and narratives. Calling out a particular director based on his range of films isn’t the wises things to do.
