Varun Dhawan's father David Dhawan gives update on new mom Natasha Dalal's health after the arrival of their baby girl

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal welcomed a baby girl on June 3 . It was proud grandfather David Dhawan who confirmed the news to the paparazzi while he was returning home from the hospital. It was on the next day, that Varun finally officially announced it on social media with an adorable video which featured their dog Joey. Their pet was holding a placard which said, "Welcome L'il Sis'.

Natasha and the baby girl are still at the hospital and David Dhawan has now given an update about their health. The paps asked the 'Coolie No 1' director, 'Sir, Madam ki tabiyat kaisi hai?' Responding to it, Dhawan said, "First Class."

Meanwhile, Varun and Natasha have not yet announced the baby girl's name. They've called her 'Baby Dhawan' even in their announcement post. Varun had written along with this announcement video, "Our baby girl is here 💞 Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby. हरे राम हरे राम, राम राम हरे हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे ।"

Varun indeed must be an elated father as one recalls that he had expressed the desire to have a baby girl on 'Koffee With Karan'. When the actor was asked by Karan Johar about the one thing which the following actors have and Varun doesn't and took Shahid Kapoor's name, here's what Varun had said. The 'Student Of The Year' star expressed, "I would love to have a baby girl the way he has. I mean, not his baby girl, I want to have my own."

At that point, he was not married but he expressed the desire to get married and have a child someday. On work front, Varun has 'Citadel: Hunny Bunny' and ' Citadel ' lined up.
