While he has already denied the speculations, recently he also added that he has been constantly getting support from industry friends like Akshay Kumar and Ali Abbas Zafar.

Producer Vashu Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment has been accused of non-payments to his staff recently. It was said that the filmmaker sold his office to pay the pending salaries and laid off 80% of the employees.
While he has already denied the speculations, recently he also added that he has been constantly getting support from industry friends like Akshay Kumar and Ali Abbas Zafar.

Vashu has now revealed that he has been getting constant support from industry friends in the tough times and Akshay has been the first one to lend him support. The producer talked about getting a call from Akshay regarding the ongoing reports of non-payment. He said that Akshay was the first person to call him, to suggest not to worry, and let him know if there was anything to do. "He lent his unconditional support," he said.
Apart from Akshay, he recalled getting calls from Sunny Deol and Suniel Shetty as well. "I also got calls from Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, and also my old friend David Dhawan. I am really moved by everyone, they are people who stick by you," added Vashu.

The producer who has made several big films in his career said that the industry is his first love, it is "my jaan." He added that there are still very emotional people in this industry who have been with him through thick and thin.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Bhagnani denied the reports suggesting he sold his office to pay off debts. While mentioning that the office still belongs to him, he said that they were redeveloping it into a tower that would feature luxury homes, a plan that had been in place for 1.5 years. He also mentioned that that they were waiting for the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan before commencing the redevelopment.
