Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday boarded the same flight to Delhi to attend their respective coalition meetings as political developments heightened following the BJP's failure to secure a majority in the Lok Sabha polls.
Tejashwi Yadav and Nitish Kumar boarded the Patna-Delhi Vistara flight UK-718 and were both seen sitting together.
After that, Tejashwi Yadav returned to his seat and sat behind Nitish Kumar.
The BJP-led NDA won 292 of 543 seats, a far cry from their aim to win 400 seats.
Naidu, whose TDP romped to an impressive victory in Andhra Pradesh in the assembly polls, reaffirmed his decision to "firmly stay" with the NDA, TDP sources said.

However, they did not discuss anything related to politics and asked about each other's well-being, sources said. After that, Tejashwi Yadav returned to his seat and sat behind Nitish Kumar.

Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav were on their way to Delhi to attend the NDA and INDIA bloc meetings to discuss the next course of action after the results of the Lok Sabha polls were declared.
The BJP-led NDA won 292 of 543 seats, a far cry from their aim to win 400 seats. The BJP alone won 240 seats, the first time that the saffron party fell short of a majority (272) after coming to power in 2014.
The Opposition INDIA bloc, defying predictions, put up a strong show and won 234 seats. The alliance is attempting to warm up to JD(U) and N Chandrababu Naidu's TDP to cobble up numbers in a bid to deny the BJP to form the government again.
Both Naidu and Nitish Kumar will be in Delhi for the NDA meeting and the latter is likely to put forth his demand for the Speaker's post, sources told India Today TV.
