Batting superstar Virat Kohli has been in red-hot form these days. In the five matches played so far for RCB in the IPL 2024, he has scored 316 runs and is leading the Orange Cap race. The former Indian captain scored 113 runs from 72 balls in the last match for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Rajasthan Royals, which also helped him complete 8000 runs for RCB.
After achieving many batting milestones during his knock against the Royals, Kohli will have a chance to achieve another massive batting record on Thursday (April 11) during RCB’s sixth match of the IPL 2024, which will be played against the Mumbai Indians . If, in the match against MI, Kohli manages to score at least 50 runs, then he will break Shikhar Dhawan ’s record and become the leading run scorer in the IPL against the five-time champions.

Kohli, who is the leading run scorer in the IPL with 7579 runs to his name in 242 matches, also needs four sixes against MI to become the fourth batter after Chris Gayle (357), Rohit Sharma (264), and Ab de Villiers (251) to hit 250 or more sixes in the cash-rich league.
