According to the USA Today report, she shared an Instagram video on her official handle @fruitisbeaut, wherein she mostly shared her experience with a diet consisting of only fruits. In the clip, Osbourne is seen saying that she has only drank orange juice for 40 days and she has never felt better and healthier than this before. According to her post, she started to take juice as her diet during the holidays so that she could get more time to fast. Eventually, she was surprised to know that without having food to survive she was filled with energy and felt spiritual as well.

Oranges are known to have several health benefits as they are rich in vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants. Health experts usually advise not to take such a restrictive diet. Although Osbourne has shared positive results of having such a diet for a certain period, health professionals warn that a fruit-only diet leads to a lack of required nutrients for the long term.

Osbourne shared that she used to carry a juicer along with her. She also used to squeeze them at times. While the Instagram followers asked about the quantity she consumed in a day, to which Osbourne replied that she drank between 1-1.5 litres of orange juice in a day.

According to the News Corp Australia report, the Cleveland Clinic’s study has mentioned that fruits are rich in natural sugars, vitamins, and antioxidants that make their consumption beneficial for health. Eating excess or following such a diet is not recommended as it can cause rapid weight gain, diabetes, and nutritional deficiencies as well.
