Rishabh Pant’s unorthodox shots are pleasing to the eye, and the way he smashed LSG bowlers from all around the park was nothing but a show worth every penny for fans at Ekana Cricket Stadium. However, he almost hit their beloved LSG skipper KL Rahul with the willow just before being stumped by the same man on the same delivery.

The incident happened when Pant, batting on 41 off 24 balls, went for a big slog against Ravi Bishnoi during the 16th over of DC’s innings. However, the ball spun away sharply from Pant, who did not anticipate it at all. The ball went straight into the hands of Rahul, but at the same time, Pant’s bat went to the fly as well.

In fact, the DC skipper’s bat landed on Rahul’s arms, although he broke the stumps before it happened. The LSG skipper, anyway, was undisturbed by the whole incident, and he remained calm and composed despite almost being on the edge of a major injury.
