The unwanted incident took place during the second over of Australia's innings when their skipper Mitchell Marsh was on the strike against Jasprit Bumrah. Marsh went for a pull, only to fail miserable, as he could only get a huge top edge.

Rohit, who played an outrageous knock earlier, was not impressed at all, as he was seen frustrated while hurling abuse. Pant, on the other hand, did not react to it, as he had nothing to do when the tumble happened.
