The sixth match of T20 World Cup 2024 between England and Scotland was delayed a bit due to rain, but when the game started, Scottish openers did not back down and smashed England bowlers all over the park in the Powerplay, ending with 49 in the first six.

In the final over of the Powerplay, Michael Jones was brutal against Chris Jordan and smashed him for a six first and two fours. The six off the second delivery was quite a brutal hit and it went almost out of the ground, hitting solar panels at the top of the stands.
