When Aayush Sharma asked his father to bear Arpita Khan's expenses after marriage

Aayush Sharma recently revealed that, after his marriage to Arpita, he had asked his parents to bear Arpita's expenses until he sorted his life. The actor was 24 when he decided to spend the rest of his life with Salman Khan's sister. This revelation was made on the YouTube channel Bharti TV.

Aayush's parents were initially taken aback by his decision to marry Arpita, questioning his ability to support her financially. He said, "Kaam tu kuch karta nahi hai, paise tu kama nai raha, upar se shaadi kar raha hai woh bhi aise ladki se jiske paas itna paisa hai. Uske kharche kaise uthayega?” (You don’t do any work, you’re not earning money, and on top of that, you’re getting married, and that too to a girl who has so much money. How will you manage her expenses?)."

He then continued, "Main nai uthaunga, aap uthaoge na?” (You will finance this right?) His father reacted to his statement and asked, “Shaadi tune kiya, pyaar tune kiya, bill mai bharu?” (You will get married, you fell in love and I should pay the bill?)

Aayush, who comes from a political family and is the grandson of veteran Congress politician Pandit Sukh Ram of Mandi, managed to convince his parents and introduced them to the Khans. His mother was impressed by Salman Khan's good looks. His family admired the Khans and their values. When his father asked Arpita if she would move to Mandi, if the need arose, Salman replied, “Wherever Aayush decides to go, Arpita will follow him. You don’t worry about it.”

The couple, who got married in 2014, are now parents to two children, daughter Ayat and son Ahil Sharma. Aayush is set to appear next in 'Ruslaan'.
