According to data presented in UUKI's International Graduate Outcomes report, a notable 83 percent of international graduates acknowledge that their UK degree significantly aids them in securing employment. Furthermore, the implementation of the Graduate Entrepreneur Visa (Tier 1), enabling graduates with business proposals to establish their ventures within the country, exemplifies the UK's dedication to supporting its students.

These scholarships, some covering up to 100 percent of study expenses, alleviate the financial burden for students, paving the way for brighter futures and global careers.

Over the past three years, the British Council has disbursed scholarships worth over GBP six million to Indian students. Various scholarship programmes, such as Women in STEM scholarships, the India Chevening programme, GREAT scholarships, Commonwealth scholarships, and the Charles Wallace India Trust scholarships, provide opportunities for students seeking financial aid for specific courses or universities.

Based on the most recent figures from the UK Home Office, Indians remained the top nationality in 2023, obtaining over a quarter of study visas-133,237 including dependents-a 5 percent rise from the previous year. Additionally, the UK granted nearly 500,000 sponsored UK study visas by June 2023. Presently, with a remarkable 96 percent approval rate for study visa applications, Indians constitute one of the largest student cohorts in the UK.
