The coach announced earlier this year he would step down at the end of the season, but since then Joan Laporta, Deco and Rafa Yuste have all said they wanted him to stay.
Xavi met the club’s chiefs on Wednesday for showdown talks at Laporta’s house where the decision has been made that he will continue, according to multiple reports.
Cope are reporting that Laporta may make an official announcement on Thursday to confirm the news.
Yet it seems now that Xavi will take charge of the first-team once again next season and see out the contract he originally signed on his return to the club.
