"You are not well": Delhi High Court to man for "preposterous" allegations against PM Modi

The Court passed the order after Kumar alleged that the Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and former Civil Aviation Minister (now Minister of Communications) Jyotiraditya Scindia have taken false oath of allegiance to the Indian Constitution. Kumar added that the Prime Minister is attempting to kill him with the help of a former Chief Justice of India. It makes no sense and the single-judge is right in saying that it is replete with unsubstantiated allegations," the Bench remarked. The Bench concluded that all the allegations made by Kumar are a figment of his imagination and bereft of any material particulars. It added that the allegations are preposterous and, therefore, dismissed the appeal while asking the authorities to keep a watch on him.

A Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela asked the local Station House Officer (SHO) and the District Judge to keep a watch on the petitioner, Captain Deepak Kumar and exercise their powers under the Mental Healthcare Act, if necessary.

The Court on Wednesday asked Kumar about his well being.

"Are you well? You petition is incoherent. It is going from one end of the spectrum to the other. It is going from saying that the plane you were flying crashed to your daughter is missing to former CJI trying to kill you. Are you well? No human being can understand the petition.
