Nissan India will more likely introduce the X-Trail around August, featuring a 1.5L turbo petrol engine instead of the ePower tech. The SUV underwent a significant update globally in mid-2022, and it has been spotted several times on local roads. Initially, it will be imported into the country via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route and sold in limited numbers.
2. New-Gen Kia Carnival:
The fourth-generation Carnival is set to debut in India in the upcoming months and was recently spotted undisguised. Representing a significant departure from its predecessor, this new model will likely offer seven- and nine-seater configurations. Positioned to rival the top-spec variants of the Innova Hycross, it will boast a tech-rich interior with modern comfort, safety, and convenience based features.
3. Mahindra Thar 5-Door:
The five-door Mahindra Thar is scheduled for launch on August 15, 2024, featuring larger proportions compared to the existing three-door model. Available in a wide range of variants, it will be powered by a choice of engines including a 1.5L diesel, a 2.2L diesel, and a 2.0L petrol engine, with both manual and automatic transmission options.
