Apple Design Awards
Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has unveiled the winners of the Apple Design Awards 2024. The company tries to honor the best apps from its App Store annually through these awards. Apple has in total picked 14 different apps and games, and these were chosen by the App Store's editorial team, which curated from a list of 42 finalists.
These awards were divided into seven categories, with one application from each category and one game picked for their contributions. These categories were delight and fun, inclusivity, innovation, interaction, social impact, visuals and graphics, and a new spatial computing category.

Here is a list of the apps and games that won in these seven categories.
Delight and Fun: The Bears Gratitude is a journaling app for honest self-reflection in a welcoming way to establish daily gratitude practices, whereas NYT Games has a mix of titles with a redesigned navigation and gaming catalog.
Inclusivity: The oko app that uses audio feedback to help the visually impaired warn about the signal lights won in this category. On the other hand, Crayola Adventures, which has multiple characters and engaging gameplay is the winning game.

Innovation: Procreate Dreams which helps in creating 2D animations won in this category. On the other hand, the Lost in Play game with its endearing characters and fun minigames is the winner.
Interaction: Crouton a recipe application was the winner in this category, while Rytmos, which has multiple levels with puzzles to be solved with songs and gestures is the winning game.

Visual and Graphics: Rooms app has creative scenes, gaming, and social interactions, filled with delightful details and high-quality visuals. The winning game in this category is the popular RPG game Lies of P.
Spatial Computing: This new category’s winners were djay pro and Blackbox. The djay pro app offers immersive music-mixing experiences in various environments, whereas Blackbox challenges users with spatial puzzles.
