A recent report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reveals that Apple's upcoming event will feature a more secure password app for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS. This new app will be powered by iCloud Keychain, enabling users to easily access their saved login passwords.

Currently, Apple offers password facilities in iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, but the access process is somewhat lengthy. Apple is addressing this with a new, more convenient login password experience. The new Password App will allow users to access passwords with just one tap. According to Gurman's report, Apple's new password app will categorise login accounts, such as Wi-Fi networks and passkeys, for easier access.

Meanwhile, if you own an iPhone, there's bad news for you. According to a report, Apple's standard warranty no longer covers a tiny crack on your iPhone or Apple Watch display. The warranty has never covered damages on the body of the device such as scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports, unless they are due to poor workmanship or defective material. However, historically, the warranty covered single hairline cracks that did not spiderweb or have any point of impact.
