The new Zephyrus G16 comes equipped with features that promise to cater to both gamers and productivity enthusiasts. Asus says that despite being a powerhouse, the laptop is still thin and light weighing just 1.85 kg. The case is made of high-quality aluminium and has a customisable light bar on the lid for a personal touch.
Inside, the G16 comes with 32GB of memory and support for the new SD Express 7.0 standard, so you can transfer files from your camera extra quickly. It's also the first ROG laptop with WiFi 7, which means faster wireless speeds with less lag (if you have a compatible router).
To keep the laptop cool, Asus employs liquid metal on the CPU and a fiber-and-mesh heat-pipe system. The tri-fan design, featuring second-generation Arc Flow Fans, promises efficient heat dissipation even during intense gaming sessions.

At the heart of the Zephyrus G16 lies the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor which, the brand claims, is ideal for AI-related tasks. This chip has a built-in NPU (like a mini brain) specifically designed for AI tasks. The NPU, along with the processor's 12 cores and 24 threads, promises to deliver great performance for things like editing photos and videos, and even using fancy new features in Windows.
In the front, the laptop has a 2.5K OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate and support for NVIDIA G-sync. Gamers will also appreciate the DLSS 3 super-resolution that enhances image quality.
In terms of graphics, the laptop comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with a maximum TGP of 105 watts, providing up to 321 TOPS of AI performance. Further, the laptop promises an impressive HDR experience.
The ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024) also comes with all the bells and whistles. The keyboard has individual lights for each key, and the speakers with Dolby Atmos create an immersive sound. There's also special noise-cancellation technology for crystal-clear chats and calls.
