Samsung's smartwatch lineup is about to change this year, as the Korean tech giant intends to release its first-ever Ultra-branded Galaxy Watch. It won't be alone, as Samsung also plans on releasing a sequel to the base Galaxy Watch 6, predictably called Galaxy Watch 7. Both smartwatches have leaked in renders before, and now, their full alleged spec sheets and pricing details for Europe emerged online through unofficial channels.
Starting with the Galaxy Watch 7, this new leak confirms the smartwatch will be available in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm. It has an Armor Aluminum case, a Sapphire Glass screen protector, an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and a MIL-STD-810 H construction.

Galaxy Watch Ultra specs and prices
Like the base model, the Galaxy Watch Ultra uses the new Exynos W1000 chip, which should be more power efficient thanks to its upgrade to a 3nm architecture. The watch also has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also boasts the same connectivity features like the Watch 7 and IP68 + MIL-STD-810 H ratings.
Unlike the Watch 7, which is made from Armor Aluminum, the Ultra model has a titanium case, which accommodates a bigger 590mAh battery. The Ultra sports a 1.5-inch 480 x 480 Super AMOLED display, and it's about twice as heavy as the Galaxy Watch 7, weighing a little over 60 grams.
In terms of European pricing, the Galaxy Watch Ultra with 4G connectivity will supposedly hit the market for €699. If true, it will be Samsung's most expensive smartwatch to date.
Other specs worth noting for both the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra include Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, One UI Watch 6.0, an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, a geomagnetic sensor, and a BioActive sensor, which may have been upgraded for health and fitness tracking. The new smartwatches should also use AI, though it remains to be seen to what extent.
Samsung will announce the new Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra on July 10 at Unpacked in France. The smartwatches will be joined on stage by the Galaxy Ring — Samsung's first smart ring — and two new foldable phones.
The company is also expected to reveal two new pairs of wireless earbuds called Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
