As part of this restructure of warranties, the carmaker has enhanced its standard warranty, besides also introducing new extended warranty options.All Maruti Suzuki vehicles delivered from today will benefit from an extended standard warranty.This coverage has been expanded from the previous 2 years or 40,000 km to an impressive 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. This implies that the customers can avail warranties for double the kilometres run as compared to before. This coverage will include essential components such as the engine, transmission, mechanical parts, and electrical systems, excluding consumables.In addition to the enhanced standard warranty, the manufacturer has introduced a tiered extended warranty programme. The new extended warranties from Maruti Suzuki are structured to provide various levels of coverage: the Platinum Package covers up to 4 years or 1,20,000 km, the Royal Platinum Package extends up to 5 years or 1,40,000 km, and the Solitaire Package offers coverage up to 6 years or 1,60,000 km.
