HDFC AMC Q1 Result: HDFC Asset Management Co Ltd on Monday reported an 26.5% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June (Q1FY25) to ₹603.76 crore.
Following the announcement of Q1 results, HDFC AMC rose about 1.5% on Monday's session.
HDFC AMC share price closed 0.76% higher at ₹4,199.75 apiece on the BSE on Monday.

HDFC AMC Q1 Result: HDFC Asset Management Co Ltd on Monday reported an 26.5% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter ended June (Q1FY25) to ₹603.76 crore. The company had reported a profit of ₹477.41 crore in the year-ago period. Sequentially, the consolidated net profit was up 11.6%.
The mutual fund investment company's consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹775.24 crores during the quarter ended June from ₹574.54 crore in Q1FY24, a year-on-year jump of 35%. Sequentially, it was up by 11.5% from ₹695.43 crore in Q4FY24.
The operational profit for the quarter ended June 30 was ₹579.3 crore as opposed to ₹413.3 crore for the same period the previous year, according to the company's exchange filing.
Following the announcement of Q1 results, HDFC AMC rose about 1.5% on Monday's session. HDFC AMC share price closed 0.76% higher at ₹4,199.75 apiece on the BSE on Monday.
According to the company's exchange filing, individual investors provide 71% of the company's total monthly average AUM, whereas the industry average is 61%.
The firm claimed to be among the top options for individual investors, with a market share of 13.3% of each investor's monthly average AUM for June 2024. As of June 30, 2024, there were 18.6 million active accounts worldwide. As of June 30, 2024, there were 10.7 million unique consumers as determined by PAN or PEKRN, a 23% penetration rate, compared to 46.9 million for the industry.
