Google has launched one of the most anticipated features for high-end Pixel phones - 'Lookup'.

This feature allows users to identify unsaved mobile numbers in their call logs without needing third-party platforms.

According to Gadgets360, the feature was first introduced in Japan earlier this month.

Now, as reported by 9to5Google, it is available on most Pixel devices through the Google Phone App version 132, currently in Beta version.

However, Google has not specified a global release date for all Pixel users.

To use the 'Lookup' feature on your Pixel phone, follow these steps:

Open the Phone (Dialer) app on your Pixel device. Go to the Recents tab. Tap on an unknown number from your call log. Besides the usual options like Add to Contacts, Message, and History tabs, you will now see a new “Lookup” icon. Tap on this icon. Your device will automatically search the internet to identify the selected unidentified caller and display the details.

Earlier, users had to rely on third-party applications like Truecaller to check caller details.

This new feature by Google simplifies the process and saves time without needing third-party apps.
