HUL Dividend 2024 : FMCG major Hindustan Unilever (HUL) is known to pay good dividends to its shareholders. In the second quarter of the current financial year 2024, the Surf Excel and Dove maker had announced an 1800 per cent monetary reward and is not set for a fresh announcement.

A dividend is a corporate action by which companies reward their shareholders by paying them an amount on each share of the firm owned by them, as on the record date fixed by its board. It may be announced quarterly, or annually.

HUL Q4 Quarterly Results 2024

The company on Friday informed that its board of directors will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, inter alia, to consider the Audited Standalone and Consolidated Financial Results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2024 along with the Audit Report for the corresponding period.

In the last quarter, HUL reported a standalone net profit of Rs 2,519 crore for the December quarter of FY24, logging an increase of a small 0.55 per cent from Rs 2,505 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. The company's profit declined 7.28 per cent on a sequential basis from Rs 2717 crore in the previous quarter.

HUL's total revenue stood at Rs 14,928 crore, slipping 0.38 per cent from Rs 14,986 crore in the year-ago quarter.

In addition to this, the FMCG major will also declare a final dividend for its shareholders. Along with the quarterly results, Hindustan Unilever board will also recommend a fnal dividend, if any.

HUL Dividend History

The FMCG company has a good dividend track report and has consistently declared dividends for the last 5 years. For the financial year 2023, Hindustan Unilever announced an equity dividend of 3900 per cent, which translates to Rs 39 per share.

At the current share price of Rs 2232.30, this results in a dividend yield of 1.75 per cent.

For the financial year 2022, the company had paid an interim dividend of Rs 34 per share.

Meanwhile, shares of the FMCG company settled in the red at Rs 2233 apiece on BSE. The stock has a 52-week range of Rs 2222 and Rs 2768.50.
