Hyundai is readying a facelift of the Alcazar which is expected to come out in the near future. The seven-seat SUV was first launched in 2021 and test mules of the updated model have been spied on multiple occasions in recent months. It has now been reported that the South Korean carmaker will launch the Alcazar facelift next.

According to a recent report by Autocar India, the facelifted Alcazar is expected to hit the market in September this year. The spy shots received until now suggest that the Alcazar is expected to undergo subtle cosmetic revisions and few feature upgrades.

Hyundai Alcazar facelift: Exterior styling

The new Alcazar is set to get a dramatic makeover upfront. The chrome-laden parametric grille is replaced with a sleek, all-black design featuring horizontal slats. This flanks a new set of vertically positioned dual-projector LED headlights. The overall look is quite similar to the recently launched Hyundai Creta N Line, with the addition of distinctive H-shaped LED DRLs and a squarer appearance.

The sides seem relatively untouched, except for new dual-tone alloy wheels with a swirling pattern. While the rear end isn’t fully revealed in these latest spy shots, previous sightings hinted at revised LED taillights with a connecting element and a sporty twin-tip exhaust for a more aggressive look.

Hyundai Alcazar facelift: Interiors & features

The cabin design is expected to mirror the facelifted Creta launched earlier in 2024, featuring the same dual-screen layout. Similar to the current Alcazar, the new model will offer both six and seven-seater options. The six-seater configuration will continue to boast captain’s chairs in the second row for maximum comfort.

The new Hyundai Alcazar is expected to carry over its current engine options including a 1.5-liter GDI turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-liter CRDI diesel unit.
