Upon launch in India, the 2025 BMW 3 Series will continue to lock horns with Mercedes Benz C-Class, Audi A6, and Volvo S60.

The new BMW 3 Series facelift has broken covers globally. Currently in its seventh generation which was launched in 2022, the 3 Series will go into production by July or August later this year with the USA being one of the first markets to receive it followed by European markets at the end of this year.

The facelifted 3 Series is expected to make its India debut sometime in the first half of next year. The midsize luxury sedan will be available in four variants— 330i, 330i XDrive, M340i, and M340i XDrive, and gets some subtle but crucial visual and functional updates over the existing model.

2025 BMW 3 Series facelift: Exteriors & Interiors

There isn’t much to speak about the exteriors of the new 3 Series as there are hardly any significant updates apart from the new 19-inch M alloy wheels (optional with 330i) in double-spoke design available in dual-tone or Jet Black finish. The other notable changes are the new metallic colour schemes available namely Arctic Race Blue, Vegas Red, Frozen Pure Grey and Frozen Portimao Blue, the latter two offered under the BMW Individual package.

Updates inside the cabin are a little more significant featuring a new two-spoke steering wheel for the standard model and a new 3-spoke, flat-bottom unit for the M Sport models. Both newly designed steering wheels have illuminated multifunction buttons and gearshift paddles. BMW has gotten rid off some physical buttons around the centre console which means some of the functions are now controlled via the 14.9-inch central touchscreen display.

The twin-screen setup also featuring a fully-digital instrument cluster runs on the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. Other interior updates include a redesigned heated steering wheel, new ambient lighting designs with colour and brightness adjustability, navigation functions including Augmented View, etc.
