Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) has also informed the bourses of the schedule of the announcement of its earnings for Q4 FY24. The public sector undertaking (PSU) is also set to monetary reward as dividend for its investors.
Indian Oil ( IOC ) Q4 2024 Results date and time
The state-run company, in an exchange filing earlier on April 10, informed BSE that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 to consider and approve audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2024.
“…it is hereby informed that a Board Meeting of the Company is scheduled on Tuesday, 30 April 2024, inter alia, to consider and approve Standalone as well as Consolidated Audited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter and year ended 31st March 2024,” said IOC in the filing.
“…the Trading Window for dealing in securities of Indian Oil shall remain closed from Monday, 1st April 2024 to Thursday, 2nd May 2024 for all 'Insiders' as per the Insider Trading Code of the Company,” it added.
Companies usually declare their earnings post-market hours (3.15 pm).
IOC Dividend 2024
According to the exchange filing by Indian Oil, its board might also consider dividend payment to its shareholders in the meeting. A dividend is one of corporate actions wherein a company rewards its investors by paying cash. The amount is announced by the board.
“It is also hereby informed that Board may consider declaration of final dividend for the financial year 2023-24, if any, at the aforesaid Board Meeting,” the IOC added.
IOC Dividend History
According to BSE website, Indian Oil had paid dividend in 2023 on two occasions to its shareholders -- Rs 5 in November and Rs 3 in July. In 2022, the PSU had distributes dividend twice to its investors -- Rs 2.40 in August and Rs 4 in February. In 2021, Indian Oil had given dividend on four occasions, aggregating to Rs 17 on each stock.
IOC Share Price History
Shares of Indian Oil ended at Rs 171.55 on Friday, up 0.73 per cent from the previous close of Rs 170.30. The stock hit an intra-day high of Rs 172.50 and low of Rs 169.80.
The shares of IOC have given decent returns to its investors. IOC shares gained 2.94 per cent in one week, 2.42 per cent in the last one month, 19.26 per cent in the last three months and 99.20 per cent in the last six months.
Similarly, the stock surged 118.73 per cent in the last one year, more than doubling investors’ money. Shares have surged by 99.45 per cent in the past two years and 191.45 in three years, respectively.
