Jio vs Airtel vs Vi: Prices hiked, here is full list of new plans

After months of rumours, Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have finally announced price hikes across their prepaid and postpaid plans. While this might be disappointing news for many budget-conscious users, the good thing is that the telecom companies gave some time to users to recharge with old plans before the new ones come into effect. The new plans are effective from July 3 for Jio and Airtel, and July 4 for Vi. Here is the full list of new plans from Jio, Airtel and Vi.

Jio prepaid/postpaid plan price increases, check out full list

Jio's one-month prepaid plans have seen substantial adjustments. The entry-level plan, previously priced at Rs 155, will now cost Rs 189. This plan includes unlimited voice calls, 2GB of data, and SMS benefits for 28 days. The popular Rs 249 plan has been increased to Rs 299 and offers 1GB of data per day along with unlimited calls and SMS.

For higher data needs, the Rs 399 plan, up from Rs 349, provides 2.5GB of daily data. The Rs 449 plan, previously Rs 399, now offers 3GB of daily data for 28 days, making it a suitable choice for heavy data users.

Two-month plans have also been revised. The Rs 579 plan now costs Rs 629, providing 1.5GB of data daily, while the Rs 629 plan, formerly Rs 533, offers 2GB of data per day for 56 days.

For those looking at long-term options, the three-month Rs 799 plan, previously Rs 666, offers 1.5GB of daily data. The Rs 1199 plan, up from Rs 999, now includes 3GB of daily data for 84 days. Annual plans like the Rs 3599 plan, previously Rs 2999, now offer 2.5GB of data per day for a full year.

The new Jio postpaid plans have also been revised, with the Rs 349 plan now costing Rs 349 up from Rs 299, and offering 30GB of data per billing cycle. The Rs 449 plan, previously Rs 399, now includes 75 GB of data per billing cycle.

Note: All Jio plans that provide 2GB of data per day or more will include unlimited 5G data.

Airtel revises prepaid and postpaid plans, full list of new prices

Airtel has also increased its plan prices. The monthly Rs 199 prepaid plan, previously Rs 179, now offers 2GB of data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day. The Rs 349 plan, up from Rs 299, provides 1.5GB of daily data, while the Rs 449 plan, now costing Rs 449 from Rs 399, offers 3GB of daily data for 28 days.

For extended validity, the Rs 579 plan, previously Rs 479, offers 1.5GB of daily data for 56 days. The three-month Rs 859 plan, increased from Rs 719, now includes 1.5GB of daily data for 84 days. Annual plans such as the Rs 1999 plan, up from Rs 1799, now offer 24GB of data for 365 days.

Airtel’s postpaid plans have also been updated. The Rs 449 plan, now offering 40GB of data with rollover, includes unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. The Rs 999 plan, catering to families, provides 190GB of data and includes subscriptions to popular streaming services.

Note: All plans that provide 2GB of data per day or more will include unlimited 5G data.

Vi revises prepaid/postpaid plans, full list of new prices

For those looking for unlimited voice calling, Vi has revised its prepaid plans. The 28-day plan is now priced at Rs 199, up from Rs 179, and includes 2GB of data, unlimited calls, and 300 SMS. The 84-day plan now costs Rs 509, increased from Rs 459, and offers 6GB of data, unlimited calls, and 300 SMS. For long-term users, the 365-day plan is now Rs 1999, up from Rs 1799, and provides 24GB of data, unlimited calls, and 300 SMS.

Vi has also updated its daily data plans. The 1GB per day plan for 28 days is now Rs 299, up from Rs 269, and includes unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. The 1.5GB per day plan for 28 days is now Rs 349, up from Rs 299, and offers additional benefits such as unlimited midnight data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day. The 2GB per day plan for 28 days is now Rs 379, up from Rs 319, and includes the same extra benefits as the Rs 349 plan.

For a longer duration, the 56-day plans now include Rs 579, up from Rs 479, which offers 1.5GB of data per day, and Rs 649, up from Rs 539, which provides 2GB of data per day. Both plans come with additional benefits like unlimited midnight data, weekend rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day.

The 84-day plans are now Rs 859, up from Rs 719, for 1.5GB of data per day, and Rs 979, up from Rs 839, for 2GB of data per day, with the same additional features. For annual users, the 365-day plan is now Rs 3499, up from Rs 2899, providing 1.5GB of data per day along with all the mentioned extra benefits.

In addition to the main plans, Vi has revised its data add-ons. The 1-day data add-on now costs Rs 22, up from Rs 19, offering 1GB of data, while the 3-day data add-on is now Rs 48, up from Rs 39, providing 6GB of data.

For postpaid users, Vi has updated its individual and family plans. The Rs 401 individual plan is now Rs 451, offering 50GB of data with up to 200GB rollover, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS, and one complimentary benefit choice from Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discounts, or Norton Mobile Security for a year. The Rs 501 plan is now Rs 551, which includes 90GB of data with up to 200GB rollover, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS, and two benefits from options such as Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, EazyDiner for 6 months, and the previously mentioned services.

For families, the 2-line plan is now Rs 701, up from Rs 601, offering 70GB for the primary line and 40GB for the secondary line, with up to 200GB rollover, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS, and two benefits for the primary line. The 4-line plan is now Rs 1201, up from Rs 1001, which includes 140GB for the primary line and 40GB for each secondary line, with up to 200GB rollover, unlimited calls, night data, 3000 SMS, and two benefits for the primary line.
