In an email, the company encouraged employees to consider pursuing their careers at the Hubballi centre, stating, "It is your turn to go glocal and consider pursuing your career at the Hubli DC."
The centre can accommodate up to 5,000 professionals.The transfer policy benefits are available to junior employees at job level 2 who are willing to relocate to Hubballi from any other Infosys centre.
Junior employees at job levels 2 and 3 will receive a total incentive of Rs 1.2 lakh, while senior associates will receive Rs 2.5 lakh.
The company has asked employees to work from the office for 10 days in a month.

In addition to a relocation allowance, employees will receive cash incentives in five instalments over a period of 24 months from the time of transfer.The incentives increase as employees progress in their career levels. Junior employees at job levels 2 and 3 will receive a total incentive of Rs 1.2 lakh, while senior associates will receive Rs 2.5 lakh. Technology leads at job level 5 can avail cash incentives of up to Rs 5 lakh.Mid-level employees will receive Rs 6 lakh for relocating to Hubballi, and senior delivery managers at job level 7 will receive Rs 8 lakh upon completing two years of work in Hubballi. Infosys did not respond to TOI queries on this report.Earlier in the year, industries minister MB Patil expressed intention to reclaim the underutilized land allotted to Infosys in Hubballi due to the company's failure to meet job-creation targets. The issue was debated in the assembly after BJP MLA Arvind Bellad accused the IT firm of failing to create adequate jobs despite receiving land at subsidized rates.Infosys has implemented a flexible approach to working from the office, allowing its associates to work from any satellite centres closer to their homes.
