As the earnings season ends this week, Life Insurance Corporation of India ( LICI ) is all set to declare its earnings for the fourth quarter ended March 31. LIC is a state-owned insurance group and investment company.
LIC Q4 Results 2024 Date and Time
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI), in a regulatory filing earlier on May 16, informed BSE that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled on May 27, 2024, inter alia, to consider and approve the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2024.
“…this is to inform that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Life Insurance Corporation of India (“the Corporation”) is scheduled to be held on Monday, May 27, 2024, inter alia to consider and approve the audited standalone & consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2024,” said the PSU in the exchange filing.

Along with declaring its financial results for the January-March 2024 period, the insurance behemoth said that the company’s board meeting, scheduled on May 27, 2024, will also recommend a final dividend for the financial year 2023-24, if any.
This will be the second cash reward by LIC in the fiscal 2024 after Rs 4 dividend announced in the Q3 FY24 results.

Ever since LIC was listed in 2022, it has been paying dividends consistently to its shareholders. In the financial year ending March 2023, LICI had announced an equity dividend of 30 per cent, which translates to Rs 3 per share. In financial year 2022, the insurer declared Rs 1.5 dividend per share, its first ever payout post IPO listing.

Shares of LIC on Friday ended at Rs 1029.80, 0.21 per cent lower from the previous day close of Rs 1032. The stock opened at Rs 1033.05 and hit an intra-day high of Rs 1052.10 and low of Rs 1012.60 on the BSE.

Shares of LIC gained 6.15 per cent in the last one week while it jumped 3.95 per cent in the one month, 51.97 per cent in the last six months, respectively, as per BSE analytics. The shares of the insurance company surged 73.50 per cent in the last one year and 25.01 per cent in the last two years, respectively.
