Last month, Mahindra revised the colour palette of the Thar lifestyle SUV by adding a new option called Deep Forest. Essentially a light shade of green, this new offering has now started arriving at dealerships across the country.

The Mahindra Thar finished in the Deep Forest shade as seen in the images here is an RWD version. Apart from the latter, the brand also offers the 4WD version of the three-door SUV. There are a total of six colours to choose from: Red Rage, Deep Grey, Stealth Black, Everest White, Deep Forest, and Desert Fury.

Unlike the aforementioned colours, which are present on Mahindra’s website, the brochure states five colours, namely Aquamarine, Everest White, Red Rage, Napoli Black, and Galaxy Grey. We reached out to Mahindra for clarity on the different options, but they are yet to get back to us on the same.

In other news, the three-door version of the Mahindra Thar will be joined by its five-door sibling in August 2024. This version will rival not just traditional rivals such as the five-door Force Gurkha, but also mid-size SUVs including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the MG Astor.
